GBPNZD **REQUEST** 7/14

By request I have the GBP/NZD daily chart to our left. We are currently breaking new all time lows as it goes and I dont see a whole lot of support anywhere. I've drawn a fib extension from the last time there was any momentum upwards, and we are close to approaching the 100% extension. This also is very close to a psychological support level at 1.9000. This whole down trend since early May has been done with the MACD sloping generally upward creating some divergence (outlined in green). It looks like it is just slowly drifting off with no where to settle or bounce off. We seemed to have formed a nice hammer today and possibly this is a sign we might get a retrace, but I would wait for it to validate by breaking the highs of the hammer.

GBP/NZD *REQUEST* 6/22

To the left is a 4 hour chart of the GBP/NZD, and it looks like for the second time in the last few days the pair has broken the previous low mark @1.9857. I don't see a whole lot of setups yet for this pair, but I would try to be patient and sell a retest of the trendline shown in yellow, or play it as a breakout and sell it now, but neither option do I love. In the end I feel there is nothing saying that this pair isnt heading lower in the intermediate to long term future but I dont see a good entry spot for a short term trade.

NZD/USD New all time highs 5/30

Gonna take a look at the NZD/USD here by request, and we have the monthly and daily charts as we are just passing new all time highs for the pair. As we can see in the monthly, when we reached our previous highs in mar/apr of 2008, we had strong divergence in the MACD on the monthly chart, leading to a huge sell off. Now it looks like we have a pretty healthy rally, with no real divergence forming. On the daily it looks like again, we had a healthy pullback on the move upwards with a retracement to the 38% level (@.775), and now we are looking to break our ceiling here. I think we break here and look to head up to .879-.88 area within a few weeks, and I would look to any small daily pullback to try to get in.

EDIT: Just to note, not a big fan of this trade unless we see a pullback to the .8 area, if so then I feel its buy buy buy.
